Wauconda has a thriving business community with a unique mix of retailers, service providers, and industry. The Village’s elected officials and staff take a proactive approach to economic development through teamwork and streamlined services.
An involved and cooperative relationship exists between the Village, School District #118, Wauconda Park District, Wauconda Fire Protection District, Wauconda and Fremont Townships, and the existing business community.
