Wauconda Police Department – 311 S. Main Street, Wauconda
The Wauconda Police Department provides public safety services to the Wauconda community twenty-four hours a day. The Chief of Police has a professional team of one Deputy Chief, six Patrol Sergeants, one Detective Sergeant and sixteen well trained, fully equipped, full time police officers. There are no part-time police officers. There is one part-time Community Service Officer and the Department operates its own jail and Communications Center and handles emergency calls for both the Fire District and Police Department. It has a fleet of ten modern and well equipped marked police cars.
