Updated May 6th, 2020. The Village of Wauconda is taking preventative measures to help limit the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In response to Governor Pritzker’s “Stay At Home Order” to help limit the spread of COVID-19 and to reduce the exposure of the Village’s public facilities to this disease, the Village Hall (located at 101 N. Main Street) and the Community Development Department (located at 109 W. Bangs Street) will be closed to the public through May 31st and be suspending all over-the-counter services, including utility bill payments, building/zoning permits, permit inspections, and all licensing and registration services.
The Wauconda Police Department facility (located at 311 S. Main Street) will be closed to the public; however, the front vestibule will remain open and residents may call 847-613-7872, Monday - Friday between 8AM-6PM, to speak directly with police department front desk personnel. After 6PM customers entering the vestibule may use the call button to speak with a representative from Lake Zurich dispatch. The Village is urging residents to avoid any unnecessary in-person visits during this time.
The Village will be suspending water shut-offs in March and April and late payments will not be penalized. Residents wanting to make utility bill payments during this time may use one of the following options:
